When the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the coronavirus a global pandemic, we have closely monitored the latest advisories about CoVid-19 from the World Health Organization and following proactive safety measures and guidelines recommended by the local health authorities. During these trying times, the health and safety of our guests and associates remain our top priority. We always strive to ensure a safe hotel experience for every guest and employee, and are committed to providing a safer environment for our guests and staff. We strengthened our cleaning and safety standards even further in meeting the Government safety protocols to safeguard the health and well being of our valued guests and employees.
Here are the proactive measures that were being implemented since the last year 2020 when the coronavirus was declared as a global pandemic:
Signage information has been placed in the lobby entrance for guests’ awareness. Face mask-wearing, hand sanitizing, social distancing, and a non-contact body temperature checking, are some of the measures implemented to help alleviate the risk of Covid-19 transmission upon entering the place.
Maintained good personal hygiene included regular hand sanitation. Alcohol-based hand sanitizers are always available throughout the hotel for guests and staff alike.
Safety standards for goods and services for both employees and customers were being imposed. Employees are trained in safe food preparation and services practices such as regular sanitation, wearing masks, gloves, and PPE’s.
Started with continuous cleaning and regular sanitation inside the hotel premises and always ensure that the specific high-touch surfaces are well maintained and frequently cleaned throughout the day. Guest rooms, lavatory, other surfaces, and more sanitized items are the top priority.
Integrate social distancing without compromising standard operating procedures. This practice applies during the guest arrival process, in dining areas, meetings and conferences. We modified and updated floorplans with seating arrangements to ensure social distancing.
It has been a challenging time for all of us since we’ve all been affected by the global meltdown in the past year and months. Hotel Cambodiana is committed to continuing everything possible to support its Employees for their financial, physical, and emotional wellbeing. We want them to feel comfortable and secure going to work knowing they have a safe and clean environment. We are working hard to attain the level of satisfaction not only for our guests but to our employees as well.
The Royal Group of Companies conducted the Covid-19 Vaccination at the Hotel Cambodiana in the year 2021 to all their employees, and mandatory Covid-19 Rapid Testing to guarantee that everyone is safely working with each other.
